Not 100% accurate, I know, but it's a first attempt for me at making a skull replica with Fimo polymer clay. Based on a young Sloth skull, with separate lower jaw, painted with acrylic.
Thanks, I sculpted the general shape by hand, then once the polymer clay was baked and hardened I used a hand held drill and various fine paint tools to shape it up and refine the edges and textures. fine sandpaper is good too to get rid of fingerprints in the surface.
Pretty impressive detailing. How did you achieve the porous texture of the cracked surfaces?
